Try swapping out the bulbs. The car makes the signal blink faster when it thinks the light is burned out.

one of your plugs may not be in all the way. like sfgr415 said, lights blink fast as an indicator that one of your blinkers is not working correctly. next time it happens, get out and look to see if it is blinking. since it is the headlight you replaced, it is most likely the front blinker bulb, i would make sure the connections are snug to the bulb.

ok i have more information on this blinking $hit, whenever the low beam is not on, the left turn signal blinks fast, but the actual blinker in the headlight doesn't blink. however, everything works normally when the low beam is on. anyone know what's wrong?

that should only happen with Canadian cars.

But this is not unheard of...one other member has the same problem. Would you have the canadian version of the car by any chance?

headlights is not the problem. when you had the older lights. did the lights stay on whenever you turn your car one. If it did, then you have DRL and have a canadian car.

FIIIIIIIIIINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! someone who has the same issue as me, I never posted it because I figured I would get a lot of negative feedback for buying recalled lights. But for $200 shipped and not a scratch on them, good as new I can say none of you guys would pass on that deal.

but hey Phatice, I have a Canadian car with US spec projectors, and this hyperblinking only happens for me when I don't have my headlights on, so if I turn on my headlights my blinkers and all my lights work perfectly normal. It used to be that both my right and left blinkers were hyper flashing, but for the last week it's only been the left one, the right one seems ok now, What about you?

YEH DUDE WTF i'm like friggin pulling my hair out cuz of this piece of $hit, i just realized i have a canadian spec car (i'm guessing) but i'm in the US, wtf right. But that's cool, nth i can do about that. anyway i have pretty much the same symptoms as you.

when my headlights are off, my left turn signal will blink twice as fast, but the actual blinker bulb in the headlight doesn't blink, only the city light (i'm not sure if it's the city light, but it's the lil bulb in the fog area). on the other hand when the headlights are on, everything's normal. BOOOOOOOOOOOOO

yuuuuup yuppp exact same thing here, the city light blinks instead of the actual blinker. I think my city lights are the problem, the bulbs are aftermarket and I think they draw a different amount of watts than the OEM, my turn signal blinkers are also aftermarket as well. Are all your bulbs OEM ??
I bought my projectors without any bulbs at all, so I had to get all after market bulbs I had no choice.
