Anyone other sedans hate their incandescent turn signal bulbs?

So I have always hated my turn signals being incandescent bulbs and not LED's. I just don't like the slow on/off.

I tried a simple fix to make my brake lights become my turn signals but it did not work so I decided to just upgrade the bulbs.

I used these bulbs with load resistors

Here is the outcome:
The first video shows the left (oem) vs the right (led).
The second vidwo shows they are just as bright or brighter than the oem bulbs.

Looks good.

Did you use red leds or white?

Any issue blowing fuses?

texasg Feb 13, 2008 08:33 AM

i like the led. looks better since it is a quick on and off.

(how its attached )

or

why are they blinking at different rates once you have the hazards on??

Because one is the bulb and one is the LED and the resistance is still a little different. Now that they are both LED's they flash at the same rate which is just like the oem (slower) rate. :)

Yes but I didn't get the same bulbs for the front and they are not bright enough so I'm getting different ones. My turn signals are tinted so I need the brightest bulbs I can find. :o
