Guys, before I install my new 2006 JDM tails, I wanted to "upgrade" the reverse lights *before* I go through the trouble of installing them, to save the effort of changing them months/years later - if I decided to get brighter/whiter etc, lighting.

So, I guess I'm asking this:

"What brand can I go with that would give me a bit of a "unique" look to the reverse lights that will NOT...I repeat, will NOT burn out on me in three weeks, or three months..??"

I've heard of members going with LED's from Super Brite or whatever the company is called...and I keep hearing all about how the LED's burn out very quickly.

Can anyone here that has successfully upgraded there reverse lights to something after market that looks cool, and has had them up and running for a year or longer with no troubles, help me out?

i've had vled's in my reverse lights for 4 years (took them out of my old car and stuck them in my g).

 

Well, that's good news. I'm used to hearing them "blow" after 3-6 months.

Could you let me know which "Type" you ordered, or better yet, a link?
