the front lense on my headlight is scratched.. anyways to get rid of that other then changing it? and if it comes down to it,, how do i take that off , cuz man it suck to have to buy a new headlight just cuz the front plastic lense is scratched..

There is no replacement lense, best you can do is try and polish it out with some type of mild plastic polish or replace it if your not satisfied. Check the marketplace, there are some good deals on headlamps.

 

Take It To A Body Shp And They Can Wet Sand And Polish It Out.

 

If the scratches are light, you might want to consider using some 3M Plastic Polish . . . Good luck.

 

depends on how deep. Wetsand at 2000 then rubbing compound, then polishing compound then cleaner wax then regular polishing wax or plastic cleaner wax.

there kinda deep, i tried the Scratch removal stuff,, i have another headlight and i was wondering how i can go about swapping the lenses... how do i remove the lense?

I believe there is a detail DIY somewhere regarding your question. Most either use their oven to "bake" it open, or use a heat gun.

There is a black sealant that you need to soften around the perimeter of the assembly. Once its soft, you simply pry open the housing.....

Look for the thread regarding this....its under headlight painting or parking light lense clearing.......
