06 Projector question (bi-xenon)

Since I drive an 03 coupe, I didn't really keep up with the functionality of 06+ projectors until now. I always assumed that the high beam was located in the same spot as the 03-05 fog/high beam. I just bought a used pair of projectors, and I was planning on using my aftermarket 55 watt HID/6000K bulbs and using the wiring harness provided with the kit. I'm assuming that I'll lose functionality of the high beam if I use this kit.

Can anyone confirm how the wiring is setup for the bixenon?

Yes, the 06 projectors are bi-xenon.

You are better off asking redlude or ivory but I think you will still retain the bi-xenon feature even with your new kit.

the power of the high is to the solenoid. If you don't mess with the stock wiring and connect the relays properly to the low beam power only. you would be fine.

The lower reflector is just foglight now.

Hmmm...i'll test it out, but honestly I hardly use my high beams now w/ the 03 headlights. And with 55watts in a projector, I will probably use it even less.
