MOD HELP: Independent Fogs & DRLs for US cars.

1. Independent fogs allows for the use of existing fog switch to control the fogs regardless of if the lights are on or off and the fogs also turn off by themselves when the ignition is turned off.

2. DRLs for Canadian cars with US origins is defined as being having the main low beams or the fogs turn on in cue with the ignition with no option to turn them off. i.e if the low r your DRLs then you have no option of turning them off ever its runs, as long as ur engine is running. If your fogs are your DRLs then they come on during the day, when your ignition is turned on and if you turn your lows on or if your auto senses its night and turns your lows on, it SHOULD turn off your DRLs. I would have to clarify the actually operation with people who have had it done.

I ahve included some links to independent fogs done on Mazdas it should give a lil idea as to the tech info required. So those who have indepth knowledge of the wiring systems etc maybe can chime in and help us get this going. I can follow instructions well

Look up KP technologies for the independant foglight function, and talk to IvoryGT for the DRL function
