Lighting Experts! Help

Last night I was reversing out of my buddy’s driveway when he told me my tail lights are out. Luckily I was only two streets away.
When I got home I checked it out and found that my Brake light still works, but my running tail lights, side markers, and clearance
lights are out as well as all the fluorescent lights behind the radio and A/C controls.

I believe that all these lights are hooked up on the same circuit as the running lights.
The headlights, turn signals in front and rear, brake lights and reverse lamps still work.

I checked every fuse in both boxes (in engine bay and behind the dead pedal on driver’s side) and discovered none of them are blown out.

I’m not sure if any other fuse boxes exist or if it’s a major problem,
and where the location of this circuit is.
I would prefer to drive my G at night & not just during the day.

i am sure it is a fuse but right now i can not tell you what one. just cause the fuse does not look bad it still might be. the best way to check is take a test light and tuch both sides of the fuse. on the top of the fuse it says the size we will just say 10 and i think they are red. on eather side there is a small slot. stick the test light tip in there. do one side at a time if both sides light up the fuse is still good. o and the fuse has to be pluged in to check it. good luck

Replace all fuses that have anything to do with lighting..

it's cheap and it will fix it.

Ok.. So I rolled up my sleeves and took a Testlight and checked every fuse in engine bay and behind the dead pedal.
I found the only ones that were out were spares. The two light related fuse's were testing ok.
I tried wiggling around any relays I came across as well thinking maybe they came loose but no luck = [ .

Almost for sure it is one of the fuses right by the battery. You have to take the battery cover off and there is a fuse box there which contains the blown fuse. Happened to me before.

^^ happened to me also. you have to remove all the covers to get to the fuse box behind the battery. it should be a 10amp fuse.

you need to reach the fuses behind the battery like others have said. BUT also check the VDC fuse. Ive heard those who removed the VDC fuse for track use experienced the same sort of problem with accessory lighting.

Are you freaking serious???

You every hear of diagnosing? haha...

but sticking to the OT, like everyone else said, check the fuses behind the battery (IPDM)

should be a 10A or 15 A fuse

just FYI - for anyone reading this in the future (since he sounds like it's already done this time).... I REALLY don't recommend testing fuses with a test light (or anything in a car for that matter) - try a Digital Multi-Meter - it's not uncommon for test lights to throw codes / warning lights because they allow for too much current flow...take it from someone who's worked on car electronics for years... DONT DO IT!

I tried replacing all the fuse by the battery, but nothing work. Just the 10 and 15 fuses, I did not replace the 20 and the bigger fuse boxes. And also, for the fuse box, isn't it in front of the battery instead of behind? Or is there another fuse box?
