Cool Did I just blow a good thing????

Like many of these posts start...just got back from having my car serviced...
I just had my headlights replaced on my 2004 6MT Coupe. Typical reason hazed, but mine were also cracked on the inside (above the fog light/below the headlight). Due to the cracks, it was done for free under warranty. Hopefully it is just my imagination, but the headlights seem alot more yellow than the ones the dealer replaced/oringinally came on the car. My question is, did Infiniti change the light bulb spec on the headlights (i.e. go to a lower Kelvin of a bulb)? I did read a post that Infiniti got busted by the DOT for having too bright of headlights (???).
My other question is, on the headlight it self, there are markings that say DOT D2R (with an arrow pointing up) and just below that VOR HB2 (with an arrow pointing down). I never noticed these markings on my old headlights. I know the headlights are D2R's and my OLD fogs were H4'S. But does this mean Infiniti changed the fog spec as well (to H2 bulbs)? As the title states, did I just blow a good thing? HELP!

The HID's look yellow because they are probably new, they did not go to a lower kelving bulb. They did you a favor by switching them out for you, you now have greater output than your old colorshifted bulbs. HB2=9003=H4

Wheeeeewww!

Thanks for the info. I was able to get under the hood today and found some markings near the top of the headlight (near the top munting screw) that lists the bulbs and they are all the same DR2 and the H4. I purposely drove around today with my lights on (it's pouring) and the color in the bulbs seems to be getting a little whiter (projecting on my garage door). Hopefully if it does not rain tomorrow. I will swap out the fogs with the PIAA's and the clearance strip with LED's (took them out before the headlights were replaced).

2004 OBSIDAIN BLACK/GRAPHITE • PREMIUM • 4-PIECE AERO • NAV • JDM BADGING • JDM BATTERY COVER • CLEAR CORNERS • 5% & 30% TINT • Z-TUBE/POP CHARGER • PIAA WHITE/WHITE LEDS: CLEAR CORNERS, CLEARANCE & LICENSE PLATE • PIAA PLASMA GT-X: FOGS • SMOKED TAIL LIGHTS • A F@#$KED UP CUSTOM CLEARBRA •
