a while back didn't someone pull apart the rear tail light on a g35 coupe? Showed up how it was instant clear corner and chrome inside.

I don't think the LED's are red cause it would filter out through the red lens, so if you want you can use that link to order red LED's and get the clear lens made. I wish I knew how to make moldings like that cadi dude that made his own clear corners.

The red wouldn't filter out through the red lens (as a red lens passes red light through), but they would probably not be as bright as white ones.

CadillacCarl pulled the rear light apart... Just checked and he powered them up and they were red...

true, I'm not color blind, but I just know it looks weird when red led's pass through red lens. I tried to make custome lights on my bike, like you said it wasn't as brite as white lights passing through red.

That's tight though, our led's are red. Anyone know where I can find some extra rear lights for the G35coupe? I'll have some clear lens made.

I just need a mold or the stock red lens so I can have some clear ones made.

why do you want clear corners on your car in the first place? please dont make you g35 look like the fast and the furious your lights on the rear looks good enough you dont need to make it look like a rice rocket. if you want to spend money spend it to gain more hp. well its your car but im just giving my 2 cents.

Oh man...I'm sorry but I think that looks awful. You've ruined one of the nicest coupes on the market...looks like some crappy $100 lights from PepBoys or something.

LOL [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img] please don't give me your 2 cents cause they stink like rich fuel. I am going to use my money to gain some HP after more developement is done. Removing cats and getting some short stack intake isn't the way I'm going to do it either.

My depiction of the clear rear isn't like afro's either. It would just be straight clear, no "altezza look a likes". The Led's are what would make the rear light up red. Just an easy clean mod to do in my free time waiting for the real gain in HP. The talk about rice and something from fast and the furiouse is getting old. I've been there, done that. I'll do simple clean mods and see how they look despite that. The reason why I wanted some extra lights is so I could keep my stock ones to put back on after I see what the clears look like.
