ive done some searching and havnt found anything that really answers my questions, i know that the 06 had projectors comparied to the 04, but how much of a difference is there in the actual distribution of the light, does anyone have any pictures of before and after of the actual beam's of light. sorry if this is a newb question but i want to know and havnt really found anything. thanks.

 

Having owned both, I can say that the projectors are much nicer than the reflectors. The projectors have a more focused light path with a sharper cutoff between illuminated and non-illuminated portions of the road. The reflectors are more diffuse and the cutoff from illuminated to non-illuminated areas of the road is not as sharp.

It actually took me a bit of time to get used to the cutoof of the projectors compared to the reflectors: you don't get as much area illuminated with the projectors, but what they hit is illuminated much better than with the reflectors.

 

about how much is cut off compared to the reflectors? like 10% or so?
