I have been running the regular SilverStars in mine but they seem to burn out in a little over a year. I always wipe them down with alcohol and use gloves to install them. I recently bought some Silverstar ultra's that are supposed to last longer and be brighter but I have not installed them yet.

h4 bulbs traditionally last much longer than h1 bulbs so don't get confused by the recommendations made here from people who have used them on the 03-05 headlights will not necessarily have the same experience with an h1 version. I recommend staying with stock bulbs, they work great for me, 2 years going strong

Interesting. I had an 04 Crossfire (no HID offered) and ran Silverstar in the low beam, high beam, and fogs for 3 years and never had one die. Something like 35k miles, and I almost ALWAYS ran with lows/fogs on even in daytime.

I just picked up Silverstars to replace my fog/high bulbs in the G I just bought. The factory fog bulbs are so awful lit up below the HID lows.

Is that the same as a 9003? Chart I got off this site says high and fog are 9003, which since that's a dual filament bulb I assume the same bulb is used for both high and fog, alternating which filament is lit.

PIAAs are expensive initially but it's well worth the money in the long run.

what is the bottom light, that doesnt look really good IMO. Most people do not care about lightening brightness when changing bulbs. Its for color. HIDS are bright enough for the headlights, I just didnt like that yellow stock bulb.

year and a half is perhaps the low end of the spectrum. However if you buy cheaper bulbs it would have burned out in half the time or less.

Cheap now, then it adds up later.
