gloss black or flat black for inside of headlights?

is there anyway it can be damaged or melt? whats the steps to rmove the lens? and what paint do you use?

i don't think there are laws for painting the housing black...but if any of your reflectors are covered cops just have another reason pulling you over...but im pretty sure there is a law about taillights being smoked...
