I used 5mm super whites.. I think they had a mcd rating of 12,000. the voltage drop was 3.2-3.3 across so I wired four in a series and the last in parallel. seems to work perfectly.

Amber led's are availible, I have some actually... but I didn't want to use amber, white looks so much cooler.

I don't know why I didnt take any, that was most of the point of painting them red... they look good though, and I'll get some pics.

shouldn't stick out anymore than the audi lights, yea its not on the front of the car but close enough... I am a risk taker, but have yet to hear from the cops.

I have smoke clears, clears, painted inside clears and outside painted clears.

I can see them perfectly from the front of the car so I consider them semi-forward facing, I've only been pulled over once for my LED's and the cop didn't even give me a fix it ticket he just said they should be amber then let me go, I have no plans on changing them.

 

where do you order factory paint from?

 

got it from a guy on ebay, I guess he fills up these spray paint cans with the paint.
