Philips 5000K HID

Has anyone installed these on their car? I was wondering what it looks like? Can someone post pics if they have any of a G with 5000K HIDs...?

I usually read of people getting the 6000K Philips and I seen that. Just wondering if the 5000K was too much like stock and is it worth getting?

Re: Philips 5000K HID

I've never seen 5000K bulbs in person but here's a site that shows the difference:

http://www.autolamps-online.com/gasdischarge/index.htm

It's supposed to mimic a standard 4100-4300 K bulb after it has colorshifted from a yellowish white to white with a touch of blue.

5000 K in not much of a difference than compared to our stocks. Go higher in K do get something more notcieable.

Agreed. Go at least 6000k.

Re: Philips 5000K HID

Actually it doesnt matter which bulb. You Have 2 Choice.

Either D2S or D2R.

Thats it you cant get anything else. If i were you i would get higher than 6000K.
