Can fog lights/DRL be changed through hood?

I am looking to change my fog lights to something that matches the colour of the HID's but can't find the proper way to access these bulbs. I've read somewhere that they can be accessed through the hood by removing the intakes but I haven't found a posting that lists the detailed process.

Can any of you experts out there confirm this and (if possible) provide details of how to do this?

Any help is appreciated,

John

you must change them through the well well, so I threw the inner fender on the floor.

Cut the wheels hard one way so you can access the inner fender well. Pop out the plastic rivets and you can get to the bulb. You don't need to take it completely out.

Thanks for the replies. I've seen images to change the HID's this way but never seen posting referring to the fogs.

Also, I see you have 2005 Infiniti...could this be a different process on my 2008 Sedan?

Very well could be... I don't know of a "Second Gen" shop manual posted, but I haven't looked either.
