Fog lights.... white light vs yellow light?

I'm up in the air on what I want to do with my fog lights. Right now the OEM halogens are ugly and i just leave them off,

I don't want to convert to HID...just don't feel like putting that much effort and modification into the lights.

I bought some Luminics JDM Yellow 2500K bulbs, but unsure if i want to put them in. I was wondering if anyone had any decent WHITE Halogen H4 bulbs that would closely match the OEM 4300K HID, or even a phillips 5K HID bulb???

If you can't tell, i don't want to go too extreme with lighting mods, but i just want something that looks better than the crappy OEM fog/high beam bulb. I don't need actually light input since i pretty much live in the city and everything is lit up well. I know yellow fogs would serve more of a purpose in bad weather, but for my situation, i'm more concerned with the look of the lights.

Can anyone recommend a "stock wattage" white light? Is silverstar pretty much the only option? I'm not a fan of the "blue" style 8K halogen bulbs. I've tried those in other vehicles and couldn't see crap on the road with them.

I had a hard time color matching the HIDs. As a matter of fact, after several attempts none looked right. So, now I run yellows.. happy too.

Are the Luminic's a higher wattage bulb? I 've been reading about smoking bulbs and other stuff with them. Last thing i want to do is burn out my wiring.

Guess for the meantime i'll keep my fogs off and not open the Luminics bulbs in case i decide to sell them.

I went with some yellow fogs that red g35 recommended. I really like the look and the output is nice. Idk though. I might change to somthing different in the spring.

anyone tried the Osram Night Breaker H4 bulbs? They claim to be 90% brighter and 10% whiter than standard Halogen bulb

That is exactly what I was looking to do the 2500K halogens, did you use the PIAA's? and what wattage, it looks nice. I'm also debating if I should run a Bi-Xenon HID on my low beam, but I know the daytime running highbeam would **** people off.

LMK please what you used, looks slick

I have. they are a great halogen bulb. personally I prefer the Philips X-treme Power bulb. I had those in my Passat in the projector. I just got an HID kit and moved those to my high beam reflector.

The Philips claim 80% brighter. They were brighter than the Nightbreaker but were not as white...

I ended up putting in the Luminics bulbs I had.

After a couple months, i'm not really feeling it anymore. I think i'd rather change them out for some white bulbs

Out of all the different H4 bulbs I've tried, IMO, Raybrig Whitesonic matches 4300k xenons the best... better than any PIAA, Silverstar, etc... but they don't seem to last too long. Sorry, no pics.
