so buying the "pre-recall 06/07" shouldn't really make them cheaper if they are the same lights though right??? BMPNRIDE mentioned that this was the reason they were available on ebay for dirt cheap.

No, not at all. It had nothing to do with aiming. many had rotational alignment issues which cannot be fixed simply by exterior adjustment. You could end up with projectors that have crooked cutoffs that blind other drivers.

hmm. so it really is a big issue. Is there any way to tell if they are post or pre-recall by looking at them,etc. (i may buy them on ebay if I can get post-recall)

dude you scanned your passport to the guy you scammed..get your priorities straight. It would suck waking up to a car without wheels now that your address, passport number names first and last are known. I doubt you want a warrant for your arrest or all the lawyer fees. Pay the guy you scammed.
