led's from vleds start blinking?

Has anybody else had problems with led's from v-leds.com?
I installed them in my corner lights, clearance light, tag light, dome light, and back up lights a couple month's ago and shortly after (maybe a month) one of my marker light led's started blinking really fast like a strobe light. I contacted vleds and they sent me a new one out free!

But....the one they sent me went out a couple weeks after I got it. I just unhooked the front marker lights after that And today I find out one of my clearance light led's has started blinking This is really getting old now....I spent like 80 bucks on led's and they aren't lasting even half as long as a regular bulb!

So has anybody else had this happen to them or am I just unlucky?
Where else can you buy led's for our cars?

Larry

nah i had the same problem with led's from VLED.
I tried contacting them but just gave up.
Didn't want to go through all the hassle of removing and then shipping and then waiting

VLED's have a good product. I have purchased tons of bulbs from them and only had one issue in which the bulb was doa, but they sent me a new one.

I think the problem has less to do with VLED's and more to do with leds in general. leds hate heat so sticking them inside your headlights will cause them to burn out much quicker.

How are your other leds doing (tail, back up, dome)?

well that's the thing, they have quit working in the side marker lights as well. There isn't any heat there for sure. So far I have had two go out in the headlight and one in the side marker, the rest are working great.

I really like the products v-led's offers but it sucks changing out the clearance light I wish the side marker was the only one that ever had problems lol

What are the guys doing that install led's all around inside the headlight housing? I like that look but there's no way I would want to be replacing those this often.

I have had the same issue from vleds and leds from other companies also. They work for a long time in all locations but the side marker. So what I did is just bought a 8 pack of some cheaper leds from ebay ( it think from warden_jp2002). That way if they ever start blinking I can just replace them on the spot.

for those who have had problems, i suggest contacting vleds via email or calling them.. im a vleds dealer and i have nothing bad to say about the product.. of course you gotta expect some defects but i know jake will do what he can to take care of you right away..just understand that he receives several hundred emails daily.. if he doest respond back, just give him a call.. he always answers..
