Both are very bad ideas and will cause significant glare for other drivers. This WILL make you look like a douchebag.

Hmmm... good point Redlude!

What other option would you suggest or recommend for this?

I personally hate the yellowish/orange fog lights on my 04 coupe. God knows I need extra lighting at night since my vision seems worst at night, but I hate that awful color on fogs and rather just keep them off.

Any particular brand and color bulb you recommend I could pick up at the local auto parts store and just swap out?

What are 3k fog lights? Is "3k" a brand name?

As for going with the yellow bulbs, hmmmm, not really feeling the yellow right off the bat. Both my Mom's 98 Acura TL and my Dad's mid-90's Lexus LS400 have the yellow fog thing going. I don't know if I would want that for my post Y2k car. Seems so 90's for me. Not knocking it at all, just probably want to see it first... you know, get a visual of the HID - yellow fog combo. Anyone got ?

The best option for a sedan would be to had some projectors retrofitted into the housings. That will give you significantly better output without the glare, and if done correctly can give you a colorfull cutoff so you can run OEM 4300k bulbs and still have the color. PM IvoryGT as he's done a great retro on them before.
