Plug and play. I ended up putting 3ks in my fogs. Work very nice in the rain and at night.

really. I was under the impression that i need to buy ballast for the High beam H-4 3000K HID's and even possibly relays.

Yea I sell hids as a side business for 2+ years. This is the first time I seen a housing with H4 bulb low beam as fog. I for some reason bought 2 sets of projector and in process of putting on H1 8k. I will try to write a diy. I will try to do less cutting and maybe use relay harness. I really don't want to use the harness because power directed to the battery. Harness might not be long enough

Think each hid bulb needs its own ballast

I agree, but I don't want 3K on my high beams. I use them alot as I live out in the sticks. Right now I'm running a dual color H-4 that gives my fogs 3K and high beams 5K. It's just not HID

should bring this thread back haha. after sitting here reading all these i still dont know what to go with and what company is most bang for the buck. I have tinted head lights and want to get powerful ones to bring back my stock as right now i cant see ANYTHING w/ my tinted covers and windshield.

keep in mind, i painted my housings also and dont want to melt the paint or heat to to bubble.

i remember some company told me 10 or 8k would melt my stock headlights? obviously not if you guys have it. I also want to color match low beams/fog lights close as possible. i dont like the warm white/yellow fogs. recommendations?

thanks!

I might not be the only one to say this, but what you have done is NOT SAFE. You are putting yourself and others on the road in danger. In the state of Texas, windshield tinting is illegal, so are tinted headlights. There is a reason for that, as you found out, you CAN'T SEE ****. In my state there is a serious fine for a tinted windshield.

arizona has the best(best as in dont really care) about window tint or any tint in general. its arizona, very hot and everyone here has tinted lights and or very dark limo tint including mom's suburbans now. but besides the point, as i have good night vision being young and driving this way fine. I just dont know wat set up to get.

i want brighter fogs and low beams almost color matched. and still option of my high beams. any idea what i can do? thanks.

local store that sells HID kits want like 250 for high/low beam HID kit.

does it go like this.. low beam bulb on top. then fog light bulb is same as high beam bulb?

http://www.xenonhidworlds.com/6000K-...ulb_22293.html i found the bulbs for like 90$ with everything. but im pretty sure i just need the bulb as we already have xenon HID ballasts
