Installed my Eagle Eye 5000k D2S Bulbs

These are the ones I purchased, and they came the next day at 11am (I purchased them at 3:15pm the previous day).
http://www.plasmagarage.com/XENON-bulbs.html

They have a lot more output than my 6000k ultinons, that's for sure. They light up the road like it's daytime I'll get some pictures of the brightness up later if you guys want them. Here's a picture (I know its hard to tell but it was daytime) of the 6000k(driver's side) to the 5000k(passenger side). As you can see, the 6000k is bluer than the 5000k but the 5000k is pure white.

Here's closer pictures of both

5000k (the first picture makes them look bluer than they are I think)

6000k

Damn rainy skies make my car wet Here's a cool picture of the sky, thought I'd throw it in here.

Oh and sorry if this is the wrong place for this post.. I guess it should be Picture Share, but I thought people looking to buy bulbs would look here, and they could see how they look/a review

the 5000k have about 700 more lumens than the 6000k. I ran the ultinons for about 6 months and I must say, they are hard to see at night and make your eyes hurt trying to navigate through cities with poor street lighting. But they sure do look nice. The 5000k don't match the leds as well, but are well worth the loss of color. They still look white (not ugly like the OEM halogen look)

5000K are great. I am running Phillips 85122CX. They are pretty rare and cost a pretty penny (about $210), but worth it. The light output is pure white and you retain great light output. I think mine lose something like 200-300 lumens compared to the stock 85122+, but the trade off is worth it.

halos are a somewhat dificult job to install because you have to bake the headlights and drill holes/attach them and then splice into a power source. Unless you have some experience doing something similar, I'd suggest against it, or at least get a helper

There's a few DIYs out there for this (you can look at other cars too for help), but the install just takes time, however seems like an easy process, especially if you've already opened up your headlights in the past to paint the housings. I'm planning on doing the above all today, so wish me luck and I'll definitely post pictures afterward.
