You can't really see it from the pictures but I messed up so badly putting these on. I was able to get the flat part on well but the curved part was really hard to get on. I have lots of air bubbles and creases. I am getting a new overlay and having the tint shop put them on when I get my car tinted in a few weeks.

I can't see your pic cus my job blocks them... but I'm glad you can take the experience in a joking fashion.

overlays are no joke man. did mine a few weeks ago and very much underestimated the learning curve. once you do a few though you start to get the hang of it. heat, heat, heat...that's the key.

i dig the color match personally. although i think you should do some other mods all around as well - to maintain the aggressive look (lower, spacers, new wheels, etc)

I'm actually working on some 350z h-techs, and prob 15mm spacers.

I didnt use ANY heat, it looked so bad last night that i just let it sit until morning when I could take it off. I got outside this morning and it looked 10X better, so I used a hair dryer and it looked even better. I think if I put the other side on I'll do it the right way; or I could have the tint shop do it for me in a week or two.

I like the stock look. I would never do overlay on my tails.

I think it depends on your car. I like Color matched on some colors and I love the fully tinted look on IP cars.
