I just picked up some 06 projectors and I want to add some LED's in the clearance strip. Anybody have suggestions on where to get the led's and what kind (individual led's vs led strip)?

I just ordered some LEDs from oznium.com, they are friendly over the phone and have some cool products on their site, including the LED ribbons which are cuttable and pretty slick IMO.

Unfortuneately, I do not have any suggestions as to what you should use for your idea... Sorry! There are many ways you could do it, I suppose. Did you plan on drilling out single holes for the LEDs or cutting a slit down the entire housing?

i would think that its easier to buy the strip, and cut it yopurself. but the only question is which strip is the brightest??

I ordered an led bar from superbrightled's.com for my clearcorners and they also have the flexible led strips, so i think ill just get those. Thanks.
