Okay I haven't got my coupe yet. However I bet those who just got clear corners probably don't want the orange color during light. Espeically with those who try to match their light color (probably blue/white).
Well I am not too sure if you turn on your light the orange blinker? light turns or not. But if they do turn on you guys know it's pretty weird to have white light and then orange light. In my bimmer I was able to cut one of the wire for my blinker so it won't turn on the light when I turn on my head light or parking light. It was pretty good because at night only headlight was turned on and my angel eyes. but the blinker was working I turned on my signal. It was just parking light disabled.

Anyone think it's possible for coupe also? It's probably temporary until I figure out how to make clear on the actual headlight assembly.

 

like any other car....yes, the parking light is on with the headlights.

Since you cut the wire on the bimmer....do the "parking" light work, when you parked the car? Or your bimmer did not have this feature installed in the US market

 

I believe the parking light you are talking about is the Orange light that will turn on during night w/o headlight on. They do not turn on whenever I turned my parking light however I did it purposely because my Angel Eyes were blue and I hated the look of orange and blue light. That way only Blue Angel Eyes were to turn on. I probably have to say "disabling parking lights". I will try to toy around with it soon or later.

there are companies that make the headlight assemblies for the E36 that have the "angel eyes"....but not the true CELIS from Hella, that you find on the 5-series and the 7-series.
