most of you guys on here have the PIAA LED bulbs for the side markers and clearance strip, it has a white base and the LEDS are clear, i was wondering if they sell a 7440 bulb like this? Reason is, i do not want to look at my lights and see a blue reflectionn on my chrome housing coming from the bulb. I would prefer it be clear... but i cant find any... does one exist? please help...

 

Something doesn't add up. Judging from your post, you have taken apart the headlight housing and cut out the amber lens for the blinker. Since you state you don't like the blue reflection in the housing, this means you put in a hyper white bulb in there. That is super illegal.

But to entertain your question, yes... 7440 LED bulbs do exist. I don't know if piaa makes them, but APC does. Superbrightleds.com also has LED 7440 bulbs. Do you have the coupe or sedan? They may not work on the coupe because they are always on with the coupe lights, and then blink brighter. The sedan is just on and off. So if its a sedan, i would suggest the best quality LED product for that... http://rasecreations.com Kind of pricey, but they are pimp.

Or you can just buy the APC chrome bulbs.

are our 7440 bulbs dual filament or single? those bulbs you posted are too expensive, $90 for a set? i'm looking for something affordable... something that will match my piaa super white LED's in my clearance strip and side markers, i have the coupe... i would prefer a clear bulb or those "titan" ones with the silver finish outside, but when they shinem they shine the same color as my piaa super white led's... for those of you here who've broken apart the orange signals in your lens, can you show me some pics of some of your lighting, i want to see which 7440 bulb matches the best with my piaa's...
