Need some advise on amber signal

Hey guys, im new to the forum , i just picked up my 05 laser red coupe. i want to keep my theme red and black i don't like any silver so i blacked out the grill and i plan on painting the lights black as well.. im just curious how you guy cleared out your amber signal, and also is there any way to get it to look smoked, ???
just looking for some info on the project, thanks guys

The amber piece is one entire piece that is orange if sanded down.

You have to carefully cut or dremel out the amber circle, then cut a clear piece of a different clear source. Make sure you fit it well, then glue it (RTV silicone) or similar glue. Some glues will cause hazing to your headlights when heat is involved.

I went to lowes and purchased a light cover for about $8 enough to do quite a few pairs. It take patience and time. Good luck.

They say clear or smoked/black looking corner lights (the amber ones you wanna replace) for pretty cheap on ebay
