I'm interested in installing an HID kit in the fog light location on my 06 headlights. I've searched, but I can't seem to find any write ups. My main worry is the wiring since the entire headlight assembly plugs in together. Can anyone post up their experience and perhaps pics or diagrams?

 

this is a horrible idea. The headlights will glare and blind other drivers. Don't be one of those douchebags

I had searched about it and there are few article about installing HID.
And also I see pictures of installing HID on pic gallery on the main page(team transport or something).

However, it did not seem that easy to install because you have to drill the caps of fog and cut and rewire wires. So I just gave up and just purchased Osram Silverstar H1 bulbs.

P.S how is Nismo R-tune pad? I am considering it but I don't see many informations about it

 

i installed hid into my fogs and it was my first time installing hids into a car. it only took an hour and a half. i drilled a hole behind the cap of the headlight for the wires to go through to the balast which i mounted behind my frame bar. it was simple as that
