thats not a real Philips Ultinon 6000k Bulb bud....first off the real philips ulitnon bulbs have a purplish stem on the side of the bulb...not a blue stem...thats a first indicator....I told you before when you bought my other 06 headlights that my 6000k Authentic Philip Ultinon Bulbs..purchased for about 170 shipped from an authorize philips ultinon dealer are purple...

Authentic Bulb and Box from Philips:

I will post a pic tonight when I get home showing the purplish color

I couldn't find anywhere on that page that the bulbs they sell are philips ultinon. Thanks for posting pictures. That other site states that the ultinon are more bluer than stock. I never really heard anyone said they look purple. Most people with the ultinon 6k said that there appears a whitish blue. *shrug*

i believe that the 85122+ is the philips 5k. never heard of 85122 wx before...

I do not see anywhere that those are Philips bulbs. $159 is a very low price for thes bulbs and not a price I have seen when planning my purchase.

I got mine from ebay but they were a online store for HIDConcept http://hidconcept.com/homepage.html

There has been alot of back and forth on what is real and what is not real. The stamp on the base of the bulb varies and the stem may vary. Mine came in a generic box but the box on the ebay auction showed the one G35MAN posted.

What are real and what are fake? What is quality? What is color? Who knows.....

The bulbs I got have all of these characteristics except for the E102 number on the base.

Here is a response from the place I got the lights....

We understand that there are many fake/copy version of these bulbs in the market.
However, 85122+ bulb is standard 4300K while 85122wx bulbs you received are 6000K ultinon series.
You can easily identify this by looking at the part# on the bulbs and also red salt inside the arc of the capsules.
