HID bulb blown

So my driver side headlight stopped working last night. How do I know if it is the bulb or the ballast that is gone?

Also, can anyone recommend a good source to purchase either an entire new kit or just the new bulbs. I find the light quality from the stock lights is ****ty anyways and want to get a good quality set.

I plan on doing the entire headlights when I change the bulb, so black out the housing and put clearance strips in.

So preferably I would like a store that delivers fast, and has clearance strips and the HID kits or bulbs.

Any suggestions?

OEM provides the best "light quality". To check if its the bulb or the ballast, just swap the good bulb to that side to check if its the ballast

After doing some research, purchasing the bulbs alone will only save me $20 - $40 Max so I think i'm going to replace the entire thing. Just because to remove the bulb and swap it will waste so much time.

Any suggestions of websites that sell good quality product?

finding a new spot to mount ballasts and waterproof the headlight will waste even more time

uhh all you have to do is turn the tire and pull of the fender lining. redoing the whole thing is a lot more work.

and cheap bulbs will cost you ~$40. good quality bulbs can run for much more
