After replacing my bulbs, thinking that I had a bad bulb, I just found out (after installing the new bulb) that either my ballast or ignitor is bad in my passenger side headlight.

I'm curious if anyone has had any luck with Infiniti covering this under warranty and if not (which I'm thinking no, since my Infiniti is a PITA), is it possible to unscrew the ballast without dropping the bumper (something I'm dreading). I've had great luck getting to the headlight by simply dropping the inner fender well (taking off my wheels), however I didn't think to look to see if the three bolts that secure the ballast are accessible.
