I try to avoid glues, as some glues that are exposed to heat can cause a mixture of haze inside your headlight. I haved used RTV glue, as it appears to be safe.

For me it depends on the LEDS I use.

I actually dremel a hole and connect them to a circuit through the other side which holds them in tight once they are soldered.

Depending how they are connected (series or parallel, with individual resistors or in groups) there are some LEDS that can be placed there in a premade strip. If a problem would occur, I would rather replace one bad LED instead of having to replace a strip and having them all go out.

yea i think im gonna try and order a strip from VLEDS.com because that seems to be the easier w\way of doing it and not having to mess with resistors since they are already premade with them but thanks for your help.. hopefully all goes well

^the turn indicator?

I have some. You need to retrofit it, but it's not that hard.

Open up lights... Drill holes for the LEDS... Inserts LEDs and glue... Wire them up as you see fit.... Seal lights back up... DOne..

Bump. Alright, since I'm getting my whole car custom painted with extra goodies I figured I'd do my HLs as well to complete the car. My headlights will look exactly like this paint wise. I'm having a hard time figuring out exactly how to get the side clearance LEDs in and where to get them. Can anyone please point me in the right direction?
