Hey guys. This may be a longer post so please deal with me. I have a 2006 g35 black on black sedan.

This is going to be my first mod. I want blue (at least I think I want blue) for the map/dome lights (they are the same thing right because I have a moon roof right?)

I also want blue one LEDS for the passenger map lights. I do not know if I should put them underneath the door...that may make it look even more ricey lol.

So, I know that dome/map lights in the front are DE3175 right? But, I do not know which one to get from Vleds (do you reccomend any other sites?) Should I get 6 SMT LEDS for the dome lights? I would have to order 2 of them for driver and passenger side right?

Also, do I get DE3175 for the rear passenger door map lights as well? How many LEDS should I choose for those?

Lastly which white ones should I do for my license plate? Do i need to order 2 LED lights or just 1 for the rear license plate?

Sorry for all the questions but this would be my first mod. should be relatively easy right?

and personally, ive tried the blue for the dome lights.. and it was cool looking but definitely ricey.

the setup i have above is perfect. got the blue lights on the door that u only see when u open the door. and ultra bright whites in the dome lights.

but yea, the link i gave above was from an old vendor.. he still sells LEDS but through his website and through ebay now.

 

Hmm Ic. Do you know what kind i need for the dome and stuff? I will get the blue ones inside because i think it looks cool lol. Like festoon or what? And how many LEDS do I need for one light?

OK guys. i am going to order very soon. Which should I get for my front (2) and rear (2) map/dome lights? Which would be not too bright and not too dark? Any advice?

ive only tried prestigehid so i can't really say about anything against v-led (personally i wouldnt buy from them, i hear bad stories) but its ur car, so do whatever you want, ure the person that has to see it everyday not us.

but post pix when its up...

 

Does anyone else have any advice on which one I should get/and would fit into my dome lights? Also, I heard that these may stay on after the car is off? Is that true?

Get the LED boards being sold by statik performance, a vendor on here. I got them all over my car and theyre the brightest ive ever seen. $15 a board, and 6 LEDs per board.
