Yeah....Im looking to make replacement gauge faces for our cars...im wondering if the different years have interchangable face?

took me about 10 hours to take apart, replace lights, mask and sand face, adjust gauges, clean, and put back together. I don't think I can make this a DIY you have to have some skill and a good soldering iron to get this done, not to mention a lot of practice on soldering electronics. I don't want some one blaming me for ruining their circuit board because they don't know what they are doing.

Holy crap. If I had any skill whatsoever with electrical stuff this would be the first thing I would do. Great job, it looks awesome!

yeah... lol no thanks... thats why I changed my mind to do the tick marks in white and the numbers in red, my original plan was the other way around but that quickly changed when I found out I had to sand the front.

so thats why you used the stencil hmm im trying to go all(everything orange) white an just keep whats red red, so i think that if im real careful the sanding ill be ok saw that you had a exacto was that to cut the stencil or did it help sanding lastly what kind of sandpaper did you use explain that part of the method i have a 07
