What happens if you put D2S bulbs in your D2R housing?

What happens if you put D2S bulbs in your D2R housing?

So. Just like the title. What would happen if you put D2S (for projectors) bulbs on your g35 sedan with D2R housing (for reflectors)? Beam pattern different? Bulb has different shielding on the bulb itelf.

You become "that guy" who looks like they have cheap HID kits because you're spewing light everywhere producing tons of glare for the other drivers. D2R bulbs have a coating on the end so they don't cause glare. Stick with D2R bulbs, don't go with D2S or D2C (or switch to projectors if you want to do D2S ).

it will look like a 92-00 civic with hids but worst because the beam isn't controlled by housing
