fog bulb lightning

why is my left fog bulb power seem dimmer than my right? I have aftermarket MTEC bulbs and i dont know if i noticed when i put them in like 2 years ago, but the left one does not shine as bright if i looked at them against a wall or something. Also if i just look at them outside the car, the left one is not as bright. I actually just replaced both bulbs because they blew not far apart. So its not the bulbs, because the right one is bright. Anyone else have fog problem?

Could be how it is aimed or the bulb could be loosing output due to age.

i just replaced both of them brand new and the one on the right shines great. do you mean i have to turn the bulb clockwise or actually aim the fog lamp up? when i see the fogs against the wall. the right one i can actually see the light bounced off the wall high. the left side i cant even really see its on or off.

ballast might be going, best way to check if the bulb is good is to put on the other side and if it lights then its not the bulb might be the ballast
