ok so today randomly, my passenger HID would not turn on. i thought the bulb burned out, since for the past month the passenger side would be just a bit yellower and dimmer than the driver side.

if i turn the switch from on to off then back to on for 2-4 times (i know this is bad) the passenger HID would light up.

so... what could be the problem here? should i order new bulbs? or it might be the ballast?

 

Ballast. If the bulb were dead it flat out won't ignite. Ballast is weak so it's not keeping the gases(or getting the gases) lit.

 

so i know the bulb is not covered under warranty, will the ballast be? im still under bumper to bumper warranty
