8k hid replacement-yes or no?
Hey everyone,
I have audi style LEDs on my car and want matching HIDs so it has a sleek look. Heres how the LEDs look:

Ive been searching on the forums on the proper bulb to buy and learned that I dont need an HID kit, but just the bulb instead. Im just about ready to buy this one:
These are 8k bulbs, I was wondering if it may have a different look than the other known name brands? Will it be as bright? Is there any faults with this product or a more reliable product i should buy? I checked V-leds and hid-lights, they dont have the bulbs I want. Let me know your thoughts
Thanks in advanced

Get the HID bulbs off DDMtuning.com. I haven't heard anything bad about them so far, and their bulb pairs are only 15 bucks. Worth a try, and definitely better than some random HID off Amazon. Amazon carries name brands, but they also carry random crap brands too.
The DDMtuning bulbs have a 1 year warranty and if 1 bulb goes out they replace the pair so they always color match - sounds pretty solid to me (if you buy their HID kit, you get the same bulbs and they carry a lifetime warranty - it's just that they reduce it to 1 year cause they aren't sure if you are using crappy ballasts). I figure OEM ballasts will probably be better than theirs so it shouldn't be an issue.

i went with 8000k on mine... if you have projectors, then use D2S, if they are non-projectors, use D2R.
With the projectors, you won't see too much of a difference from inside the cabin. Yes, it will look more blue (which I like), but you will loose a small amount of light output (not noticable). With the non projectors, the 8000k should be a little more noticable than with the projectors.
I'm not sure as to how they are going to match the leds you have, but the 8000k's are great if you want to make your car look a little better (imo). Anything above 12000k is kind of rediculous.
