99% Chance you won't be able to fabricate a better set of projector headlights than the upgraded projector headlights that come on the newer G35s, therefore:

1. Go to marketplace/craigslist/ebay
2. Purchase Projector Headlights.
3. Open then up and paint them
4. Take your 05 headlights off.
5. Sell your old reflector headlights, and make 40% of your money back.
6. Install new and improve projector headlights.
6. Celebrate

Congratulations, you did it.

Just did the projector upgrade to my '05 last night. Got them for $435 shipped off ebay. Hoping to make the majority of that back by selling my old headlights. Last week a set of 03-05 lights sold for over $500 shipped and I said WTF??? Here's hoping for the same luck.

On a side note, that was the first time I'd done anything with the headlights and man is that install a pain in the a**. Took 4 hours total (prob would take me 2 hours again now that I know what I'm doing). WTF was Infiniti thinking when they designed that!!! I mean if a headlight goes out I'm stuck removing my front bumper? I guess they must be trying to increase dealership business.

wow great deal.

but now you have to learn how to use the search button.
there're dozens of threads on this.
click on the search button on top of the website and find a DYI thread, it shouldnt be hard.
