Matte or Gloss Black Clear Corners?

I have my headlights painted matte black, and the clearance strip wrapped in carbon fiber. The turning signals were changed to a clear cover, and then tinted.
Therefore the whole headlights is blacked out. But now my clear corners are sticking out.

I opened them up with a screwdriver today, and I'll be painting the housing.

Does anyone know if I will get a better reflection/ light output by painting it gloss black instead of matte black, or will be difference be minimal?

Thanks

makes sense that it would be somewhat more reflective, but i figure it'd probably be minimal. black is black, right?

I sprayed mine matte black, with the VHT Nightshades. looks great, but light visibility is limited.
