LED headlight mod for Canadian spec?

I'm looking to do the "ironman mod" but my friend told me the US spec is different then the canadian spec I guess because of the DRL, anyways, my friend has been trying to do it but kept blowing fuses when he followed the diy for US spec, so I was just wondering if there are any Canadian spec DIY for doing the LED ironman mod? Or even if anybody did this on the Canadian 06 g35 coupe? If so please let me know how u hooked it up, most preferably with the DRL

thank you!

if the ironman mod is what you call for halos, just wire them to the ashtray lighting in the car.... It turns on when the car is on.

wire it up to the ashtray power and you will have your DRL

umm, you can run the wire along the driver side of the engine bay, then route it into the door, down the door jamb, into the driver foot well. Then, you can tap it into the BCM harness located by the dead plate, if you know which wire to tap into. Or, you can continue to run the wire along the footwell to the center console where you can tap it into the cigarette assembly.

you would need some flexible led strips. and some wires. That would be about it. The rest is elbow grease
