Ballast question

hey all i am putting in my new 06-07 projectors in my 03 coupe today, i took off the ballasts and there were two plug i had to remove from my 03's the one on the side that connects to the main wiring harness on the headlight, and then there is another smaller connector on the flat side of the surface (the face of the ballast)....

when i went to swap over the ballasts i couldn't seem to find the smaller style connector on my new 06-07 projects, the smaller connector that is on the face of the ballast,

i assume there is no smaller connecter on the newer model headlights as i could not find it, so you just have to plug the one on the side in only that connects to the main wiring harness?

thank you for answering my question in advance

If your speaking about the (I believe brown or orange in color) connector the connects to the ballast it should be there. When I got my headlights it was tucked up in the hole (where the ballast screws to). I just had to pull it down.

I had this same question when I installed my projectors. It does need that smaller (brown) connector for the lights to work. I actually think it's the ignitor. The lights I bought from ebay didn't come with it, so I just took it off my old headlights and hooked it up to the new ones.

all ballasts from 03-07 coupes are interchangeable..the plug should be tucked in the hl somewhere..if it isnt, im not 100% sure but ur 03-05 ignitors may work..i cant remember

Sounds like you don't have it. Just use your ignitor from the '03 headlights. Plug it into the back of the low/high beam bulb of the new projectors, and then run the wire harness through the headlights to where the end w/ the brown connector pops out of the part where the ballast screws into.
