Reliability of AAC Oracles?

As of late, I've heard many-a complaint regarding the installation and longevity of the Oracles. Many AAC customers have reported installing the kit, and then having one ring start to dim one week, another ring completely go out the next week, etc etc.

Has anyone had some success with the AAC Oracles? And if not, is there an alternative Halo lighting kit for an '06 coupe? I've been looking, but haven't come up with any viable solution thus far. I'm just wondering if it's really worth it to purchase the Oracles or not. Thanks!

Ive installed a pair of 10,000k halos from AAC on my G coupe about a year ago and they look sick...Havent had any issues what so ever..its all about how you hook it up to avoid wearing out the inverters.

i ran ccfl oracle halos for over 2 years with no problems, only reason i don't have them anymore is someone hit my car and since 1 light was destroyed i had infiniti do my 06 headlight recall after the accident

i had a prelude with it, came with the head light but after 2 months one of them got dimmer then the other side so i toke it off. but for that short 2 months it looked awsome. i was going to put one on my is300 but i heard enough complaints from aac on other forums and experienced it my self on the prelude that i just left it alone. end up with some HIDs.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I really appreciate it. Last question...should I send the headlights in and have a technician at AAC take care of it, or is this a fairly simple DIY installation?

pretty easy install as long as you are comfortable opening up the headlamps...after that epoxy the halos in place and tap into a power source, i used my city lights for its simplicity but if you want you could always wire them to a seperate switch
