Led/smd strip in clearance strip

has anyone tried this? is it even possible?
i've seen this website http://www.automotivelightstore.com/...ncestrips.aspx has anyone tried that? that one would be 2nd choice. i really want to know if you could run these through the bulb hole.

the first choice works, but is a pain IMHO. Its basically a long CCFL tube ( which is fragile as hell) second choice would probably be for feasible. You do plan on opening up the lights to propers secure the strips right? or were you planning on feeding it through the bulb socket O_o

jpn what year and model G do you have? The City Lights in 2003 style headlights only accommodates a bulb - the hole does not extend the entire length of the headlight.

assuming you have the older style headlights, the mod requires you to open the lights and cut down the stock diffuser to clear any LED you might want to add in there.

i think the best and easiest thing to do is just buy a really bright 360 degree T10 led. It'lll light the whole clearance strip up.

You would have to open up your lights. Where are you located, I have a set of what your looking for.
