Anyone knows the specs of the LED's in the rear tail light of the coupe? Such as MCD, view angle, etc. Really appreciate it, thanks.

 

Im pretty sure I found the specs if anyone cares, its either or:

65,000 MCD, Viewing Angle 180 (408 lumens)
135,000 MCD, Viewing Angle 120 (424 lumens)

Pretty sure its the first one since its relatively close to the output of a 3157 bulb (402 lumens). If anyone knows for sure that would be cool, trying to do custom tail light job and the G35 tails of the gf's car seem to have perfectly suited LED's, that's what got me interested. Im a Z guy btw, so hey fellow VQ35 members

what size are the LEDs? 5mm or 3mm? whats the wavelength (color?)?

 

Im gonna go with 10mm, pretty sure they are also. Basically anything in the red range 620-630. Ive had good luck with regular eBay LED's so Im most likely going to just pick them up from there, good prices and most are prewired for 12v to ease up the install.

 

The numbers you're using must be for the entire assembly, not a single LED. I would also guess the LED's are 120 degree, not 180. The LED's are generally in a DIP-4 package, like philips superflux LED's or the ones below. The ones below I've used with no issues in my sequentials. I've used 120,90, and 60 degree ones.
