Long story short, got in a wreck, passenger side headlight destroyed. Have Xenon ballast. Can I use a Halogen (cheaper) headlight off of ebay and use the xenon ballast and be ok? Driver's side is Xenon and perfectly fine.

No, xenon bulb will not fit. Look for used Xenon headlight.

You will have a small explosion .
Let's put it that way-what you're trying to do is the same as fitting propeller on a jet engine. It just not going to work-plugs, voltage, bulb socket size-all is different.
Trust me-look for used Xenon headlight. Pleeeeease?

(You may try to get Xenon capsule in whatever size bulb halogen housing comes with, but light output will be poor and have a lot of glare. I strongly advise against it and cost wise you will be better off getting used Xenon headlight)
