make sure you adjust the beams before you put it all together! sometimes the projectors requre totational adjustment to shoot a straight line that will require further modding! Kudos on doing a progression thread!

So I am almost done, I gave the shells a light coat of semi gloss, I wasnt feeling the flat black. Should I paint both of the shrouds or just the top or just the bottom. Leaving one chrome to break the use of them low beams or fogs.

I would either paint both shrouds or leave them both chrome. They should match IMO.

And with that said, to paint or not to paint that is the question.

Can you aim the headlights using the original adjusters?

Crap. I thought I was cool because I painted my headlight bezels black. you guys make keepin' up with the joneses a bitch. I painted my OEMs a couple years ago. My 16 yr old son just wrecked my G and I bought those same headlights on e-bay. Worked out well because my ins. co is covering all my damaged mods. For the headlights they gave me credit for OEM plus the painting. My OEM lenses were foggy despite my best attempts at restoring. I figure at $160 a pair, if the e-bay headlights last a couple years I'll be happy. Good thread. I'm subscribed. Anxious to see the final product. With all that time into this project, it better come out sweeeeet! Don't let us down!
