So I just installed my 06 projectors and I've noticed that the Fog lights put out light like highbeams. The yellow fog light is clearly visible above the cut-off line of the low beams and they just seem to aim really high. The low beams are aimed perfectly so I know the lamps are sitting right. Is this normal for the 06 fogs or is there something going on with them? Is this why some of them were recalled? I thought the recall had to do with the low beams.

I guess one bonus of the projectors and how they light up the road is that I doubt I'll ever need the fogs for lighting performance because the projectors put out some awesome coverage.

By comparison, in my 04 housings, the fogs clearly lit the lower section of the road. I never noticed them lighting above the low beam pattern.

the foglights can be aimmed separate from the projector, so just aim them as need be.
