But don't you lose your high beams if you convert to HIDs? Since that bulb in the fog light is a fog light/high beam then you would have to choose one light. Aim it high like a high beam and then you cant drive around with it on as a fog light. And aim it low like a fog light and then you basically have two low beams and nothing to project far into the distance like a high beam. This is why I am thinking of simply replacing the bulbs instead of a HID covnersion. A real low/high beam HID conversion is very expensive I believe.

That's my understanding as well. I haven't heard of a dual focus Xenon bulb. That's why I'm trying to source a set of 'Silver Stars' for my G.
