My headlight lenses on my wife’s 99 Altima are real dull & cloudy. I thought about replacing them but now I see that there are some restoration kits available. Has anybody tried anything like this? Does it really work? Here’s a couple I was looking at:

You don't need a kit. Go buy 1500 wet/dry and wetsand the cover. Use a buffer with white compoiund, followed by a fine polish.

A little elbow grease goes a long way. Okay, a lot of elbow grease, but you get the idea.

 

Try Transmission fluid. There is a post on it somewhere
