My pass headlight stopped working yesterday. I tested the bulb in the otherside and it works. So now i have it narrowed down to either the ballast or ignitor. My first question is if there is a way to test between the 2 in order to determine the actual part at fault before I spend the money to fix it. My second question is whether or not the sedan and coupe use the same ballasts and ignitors. I ask because while searching on ebay for ballasts all of the ones listed as "g35 ballasts" use a completely different plug than mine. My ballast is a connected by a 2 wire plug, the ones for sale on ebay (used OEM) show a larger 4-6 wire plug.

EDIT: after searching around some more it looks like people have been posting that the sedan and coupe use the same ballast, when in fact I believe this to be FALSE. I think the first link shows a sedan ballast and the second a coupe ballast. Unless someone can prove that they have one the same(both headlights in hand)
